On the 12th of February Within Temptation is coming to the largest country in South America! WT will perform at the Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil!

Brazil is well known for its Cristo Redentor, the 38 meters high statue of Jesus Christ on the mountain Corcovado, looking over Rio de Janeiro. Another tourist attraction is the Pão de Açúcar, a 396 meters high mountain, with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. You can get on top of the mountain by using a 1400 meters long cableway which can take up to 75 people up to the top. You can take over 270 routes up to the top if you’d like to climb.

The Museu de Arte de São Paulo is one of the largest museums of Latin America, which is located in São Paulo. The museum holds the artworks of famous painters such as Pablo Picasso. The Cathedral of São Paulo is also worth a visit.

    OMG!!! I had the enormous pleasure to go to one of your shows…It was in Sao Paulo, if I’m not wrong in 2006 or 2007…Now I’m gonna have my dream come true again…This Time in RIO!!! I’m getting ready for this watching ‘The Black Symphony’ everyday, singing really out loud! aaaah, of course, listening to ‘The Unforgiving’ every single day!!! See you soon!!!     Wonderful, I’ve been waiting for Within Temptation since 2008 when I first watched Black Symphony and felt in love for the band.

    The first time that I’ve heard you guys was in 2000, the musics Ice Queen and Mother Earth.

    My tickets are garanteed, and I hope to have the best time of my life.

    funny thing i noticed while Ruud was playing 2 meters in my front.. Ruud’s guitar strap has the initials “RJ”, for Ruud Jolie.. the funny fact is that RJ are also the initials for Rio de Janeiro, when abbreviated.. hehehe just went crazy when i saw it
