Within Temptation has 15 concerts left for their 2011 tour. Next stop: the O2 Academy in Brixton.

According to their website: O2 Academy Brixton has long been hailed London’s flagship venue, a must-play for artists and must-visit for music lovers. It has scooped the NME “Best Venue” award an incredible twelve occasions between 1994 and 2007, proving its popularity with fans and the media alike and in 2009, received the Music Week ‘Venue Of The Year’ Award.

With a capacity of almost 5,000, it is truly of a kind on the circuit and combines the feeling of an electrifying arena size atmosphere, with great views because of its sloping floor and incredible capabilities for production. Anyone who has waited for their favourite band to walk on stage at the South London venue will testify to its unbeatable atmosphere. Its magnificent art deco interior has been preserved and it houses Europe’s largest fixed stage, framed by an elaborate proscenium arch, based on the design of the Rialto Bridge.

Within Temptation also preformed in this venue in 2007. Now returning on the 11th of November to make an even bigger spectacle!

    @ayjayaredii Yeah, there is a closer show, but I don’t have enough free time, that’s why the show in London was and still is the best varian for me! :)

    Does anyone know if the tickets from the original Shepherds Bush Empire are still valid? I’m panicking so much that they might not be :(

    I’m getting so exited now since having to wait nealy a year after buing the tickets to see W T for the first time.I will see W T in Birmingham on 8th Nov then again in Lnodon on 11th Nov.Hotel in London booked and train tickets bought just waiting for the day to arrive can’t wait to see you guys xx

    looking forward to the show on the 11th in london. cant wait. also it states on my ticket located on level 3 and as this is a new rescheduled venue has any1 got any ideas to were ill be located.
    reason im asking is my wife is scared of heights and she is also attending with me so just enquiring. how would i find this info out

    I want to go so Bad Almost willing to take a train to Glasgow to the one that isn’t sold out.  To bad it’s on Thursday otherwise I would be going. I would get kicked out of the country on my student visa if I skipped my Thursday class has an exam that day I can’t skip. Maybe I’ll just wait outside O2 to see if there are scalpers on Friday.

    Brilliant show tonight – WT rocked and the Acadamy rocked too!! Twenty to one in the morning nd I’m still buzzing. Well worth the wait – don’t make it too long until the next one.

    great show last night, awsome stuff.
    nearly didnt make it due to the london trains but made it just in time.
    overall great show and great atmpsphere.
    dont leave it so long before you come to the uk again :)

    Sharon and the guys did not disappoint,totally awesome concert.Come back very very soon.Maybe Newcastle Upon Tyne this time.
