Located in Heerhugowaard, Noord-Holland, this pop podium opened its doors in 2006. With a capacity of 2500 people, de Waerdse Tempel is the 2nd biggest venue of Noord-Holland. The building is designed by Schulze and Van Dijk, and is just a half hour away from Amsterdam. This multifunctional venue has a beautiful view over a lake and a beach.
Within Temptation last preformed in De Waerdse Tempel on the 10th of October 2010. During the annual official fan club day, WT played for over a hour. De Waerdse Tempel is a well-known venue in Holland by now, international acts like Motörhead, The Zombies and Saybia played amongst WT over here.
