Mother Earth (Anniversary Edition)

Where it all began. To celebrate 30 years of Within Temptation, the band's breakthrough album Mother Earth returns as part of a special series of anniversary re-issues on split-coloured vinyl. Released in 2000/2001, “Mother Earth” introduced the world to the band's signature sound: soaring orchestral arrangements, heavy guitars, Celtic and folk influences, and the unmistakable, ethereal voice of Sharon den Adel. With the hit single "Ice Queen," along with fan favourites like "Mother Earth," "Our Farewell" and "Never-Ending Story," the album became a defining moment for symphonic metal and laid the foundation for everything that followed. The album reached double Platinum status in the Netherlands, Platinum in Germany, and Gold in Belgium.

This Anniversary Edition is an expanded 2CD set in a deluxe digisleeve. CD1 features the original album plus 4 bonus tracks, including the brand-new 2025 acoustic version of "Ice Queen". The bonus disc adds 13 live, acoustic and rare versions of some of the album tracks.

A true collector's item for every Within Temptation fan!
